Young People Director Planning Session

Good Afternoon Everyone!

 

It is the most wonderful time of the year!  "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  He is a wonderful Savior and I pray that God continues to cover each of you with His Love, Peace, Joy and His Presence.

 

This time is also wonderful as we begin our planning phase of the 2017 Young People's Convention! Our staff is most elated that we are leading in this effort.  Since our last session the vitality of our staff has continued to not only engage our efforts, motivate each other but also execute our plans.  It is our hope that you are as equally elated for the work that is laid before us regarding the  State Young People's Session.  The work of the Young People's convention is extremely important and we want to ensure that we are being stewards of the work that God is requiring of us. Therefore, as we prepare for our 2017 Session please review the following information to join us in the final plans.

 

The Annual Planning Session will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon @ Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2101 W Reeker St., Pine Bluff, AR., Rev. Glenn Barnes, Sr., Pastor. Registration fee is $10.00 and the registration form can be secured by clicking here. Please feel free to include all those who may be attending with you in order to expedite registration time. We will disseminate information regarding the plans for our upcoming 2017 State Young People's Department Session.   Please mark your calendars for June 11-15, 2017 for our Annual State Young People's Department Session.  Our session will be held at the Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Rd., North Little Rock, AR., Rev. James E. Mackey, Sr., Pastor. Our 2017 Theme is "Created On Purpose For Purpose", Ephesians 2:10, KJV.

 

Here you will find a copy of this year's guidelines for the t-shirt design contest. Please inform all young people of our theme along with scripture information and encourage their participation in the t-shirt design contest. Please bring your designs to our planning session on February 4th.  As many of you are aware, in the past the winning design will be used as our State T-Shirt and we will keep this idea.  The winner will also receive $30  plus a free t-shirt.  Our color theme this year is kelly green.
