The Southwest Region 2 will convene its 2015 Christian Education Conference at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church, where Dr. James Thrower is Pastor. This region under the leadership of Rev. Rory L. Thompson, Regional Coordinator, consists of the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and the Caribbean. Sister Betty Lea of the Consolidated Baptist Convention of Arkansas will serve as the Dean for the conference with Dr. T. R. Ramey serving as the host dean and State Director.
